About Cura

Built by someone who understands what it means to own a property like yours.

Why Cura Exists

Cura was founded by David Crowley, a Facilities Management Director with a background in mechanical and electrical engineering and twenty years of experience managing complex built environments and the teams operating them — from major commercial properties to one of the UK's leading luxury hospitality businesses.

David also owns a Grade II* listed manor house in Suffolk dating to 1580 — personally and sympathetically renovated over several years. He understands period rural property at a technical level most professionals don't, and he understands what it means to own one.

The idea for Cura came from a simple observation. The owners of high-value properties have no dedicated professional looking after the property on their behalf. Estate agents sell them. Surveyors assess them at purchase. But between those moments, the ongoing complexity of the property falls entirely to the owner. Most owners are not equipped to manage that alone, and most wouldn't expect to be. It's just a gap that shouldn't exist.

We have no financial relationship with any contractor we recommend. No referral fees, no percentage of works, no agenda other than what is right for your property.

Independent

M&E qualified. FM background. Period property owner. We bring genuine technical depth to every visit — the kind that comes from qualification, experience, and genuine hands-on understanding of how complex buildings work.

Expert

We are not a one-off service. We are an ongoing relationship. The longer we work with a property the more we know it, the better we serve it, and the more valuable your Property Record becomes.
